Membership

Welcome to Trinity Episcopal Church. Our church building is located at the corner of West King Street and College Street in downtown Martinsburg, WV. We are a welcoming, Christ-centered community. Since 1769, members of our community have journeyed together, seeking a deeper connection with God and with one another. Our community celebrates a rich liturgical tradition, which enkindles a sense of joy and wonder for both young and old. We do this by putting our faith into action through worship, education, reflection, and ministry to others

As Team Trinity, we serve the community in variety of ways to Share Hope and Grace. We are engaged in the community as we put our faith into action. Episcopal Relief and Development, Eastern West Virginia Community Foundation, CCAP/Loaves and Fishes, Kidz Power Pacs, Hospice, Berkeley Senior Center, Kings Daughters’ Housing and Norborne Preschool and Day Care are just a few of our partners in ministry.

We enjoy food, fun, and fellowship in the service of God. Above all, we seek to continue the apostles’ teaching, the breaking of bread, and prayer. We are currently in a rebuilding stage as we seek to adapt to the changing face of Martinsburg and explore new ways to respond to God’s love. Join us for the worship of God, the building of Christian fellowship, and service to humanity. We are making a difference in people’s lives.

So how do you officially become a member? Start by attending digital church, fill out some biographical information in the binder at the back of the church, and pick up a welcome packet from a friendly volunteer. When you decide Trinity is where God is calling you to continue your journey with Christ, share the good news with our rector. The rector will facilitate the transferal of your “letter” if you are coming from another Episcopal Church or talk to you about Confirmation and Reception, which are two other ways “officially” to join the church. We also encourage you to make a yearly financial commitment to God’s work at Trinity, We rejoice that God will be blessing us with your presence at worship, fellowship, mission, and service activities in the months and years ahead!
