Our Sunday morning service isn’t the only way to pray. As Team Trinity, we live our faith by serving others: in soup kitchens, shelters, hospitals, schools, disaster recovery sites, and more. You can get more information about our community partners by checking out the links below.
Good Samaritan Fund
The Good Samaritan Fund allows the church office to provide emergency assistance to Trinity members and to the community. The funds for this ministry are provided through donations, the earnings on the Trinity Angel Fund with Eastern West Virginia Community Foundation, and an annual contribution from the church budget. We partner with the Resource Referral Network, Catholic Charities and CCAP/Loaves & Fishes to provide assistance with emergencies such as housing.
CCAP-Loaves & Fishes
This organization helps the community in many ways including operating as a food pantry. Trinity assists by collecting food items. At this time, they are in need of:
1. Macaroni and Cheese
2. Soups
3. Can vegetables such as peas, beets, and carrots
4. Spaghetti sauce (no glass to avoid breakage)
5. Rice
6. Pasta Sides
7. Canned dinners such as spaghetti, and beefaroni
8. Pancake mix and syrup
9. Noodle packages such as Ramen Noodles
Kidz Power Pacs
Community Combined Ministries was called in 2007 to start feeding families and their children in Berkeley County. God’s vision continues to grow throughout Berkeley and Jefferson Counties, West Virginia! CCM feeds on average 900+ children / 39 schools in these counties. They are always collecting easy-open cans of ravioli and soups, tuna and toothbrushes and toothpaste. For more details click here.
