The 149th Diocesan Convention will take place November 13–15, 2026, at Oglebay Park Resort and St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Wheeling. But what is the Diocesan Convention? It is the annual gathering of clergy and lay representatives from Episcopal churches across West Virginia to discuss important issues, consider resolutions, and make decisions that help guide the future of our Diocese.
Convention is also an opportunity to worship together, share ideas, and strengthen our connections as a Church. Although not every parishioner attends, the decisions made can affect our congregations and ministries throughout West Virginia.
