The Way of Jesus: Transfiguration to Ascension

Some of us may be familiar with the Stations of the Cross, the 14 scenes of Jesus walk from the place of judgement to the tomb. But the story of Jesus’ passion really begins on the Mount of the Transfiguration. From that scene of glory, Jesus came down and went directly to Jerusalem for the last time. In this series during Lent and extending into the Easter season, you are invited to travel to the Holy Land via pictures taken by Phil Steptoe and the Rev. Anne Weatherholt. The narration includes history, scripture, and interpretation. We hope this will enrich your Lenten Journey as you travel the “Way of Jesus.”
